• Texas teen creates effective anti-bullying video

Date: 02.24.14 | by Judge Tom.

Lauren Bush spent two hours and a lot of creativity to produce her anti-bullying video ”Word Play.” It was part of her middle school film class in Texas. 14-year-old Lauren commented that ”It really was just to inspire people that one person can make a difference.”

The two-minute video portrays a girl who is labeled stupid and a loser. She is tripped and shoved by her classmates. Then you see her change when another girl labels her pretty, confident and smart. Lauren successfully dramatized the impact of negative words. Nice going, Lauren. Your future looks bright!
